The exotic pests — tracheal mite (Acarapis woodi), Tropilaelaps and small hive beetle (Aethina tumida) — are notifiable diseases (art. 6).

Under the national surveillance system (Res. 153/2021) the small hive beetle is among the diseases to report within 24 hours of suspicion. Official channels: the SENASA office in person or by phone, the "Avisá al Senasa" section of the website, notificaciones@senasa.gob.ar, or the "Notificaciones Senasa" app.
